Adriana Sofía Rojas Vásquez

I’m Adriana Rojas, a Service Designer and UX/UI Researcher based in Italy with over 4 years of experience in user-centered design and digital innovation. My background in architecture fuels my approach to Product-Service Systems, where I use strategic design to navigate complex problems. Today, I bridge the gap between physical and digital worlds by applying systems thinking and strategic service design to complex product architectures. Currently a Master’s candidate in Product Service System Design at Politecnico di Milano, I am a firm advocate for deep-dive problem solving. I reframe challenges to ensure the final solution resonates deeply with the people who use it.

Alireza Babaei Kalehmasihi

I am a System Service Designer driven by an active desire to immerse myself in complexity and challenges. Rather than avoiding friction, I intentionally place myself in environments where I can experience diverse communities, distinct behaviors, and alternative ways of thinking and living. I believe that true design value comes from deeply understanding these varied perspectives, which allows me to position myself to design more effectively. My process focuses on translating these insights into collaborative frameworks and social rituals that help people navigate rigid institutional systems. By embracing continuous, empathetic exploration, I design the soft infrastructure needed to empower communities and build resilient, long-term impact.

Francesco Lucini

Born and raised in Italy, I have always been driven by a constant search for meaning, in the tension between a systematic approach and an openness to reality’s complexity. Grounded in my family’s practical farming sensitivity and curiosity, I was later guided by talented professors toward classical humanistic studies. Through a highly non-linear journey, I finally found a space to combine my rational thinking, creative impulses, and passion for connecting with people. That space turned out to be Experience and Service Design… terms I’m still trying to figure out.

Zipei Xue

Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Design at the College of Design and Innovation, Tongji University, Zipei Xue is furthering her academic journey through an exchange program at the Umeå Institute of Design. She believes that design should born from an innate passion, resonating with life on both a rational and spiritual level. With a dedicated focus on product design, she strives to craft objects that embody distinct character, refined taste, and a vibrant sense of spirit. Beyond the studio, she is a seeker of expression through music, poetry, and painting. Embracing the philosophy of a lifelong learner, she continues to explore the profound intersections of art and utility on the long road of creative discovery.
